What is gingivitis? 
   Gingivitis is a gum disease that is clinically presented as red swollen gums or receding gums. There are many causes that can lead to gingivitis, such as poor oral hygiene, side effects from certain medications, and smoking. Gingivitis is treatable and clinical condition can usually be reversed when appropriate measure is taken.
   What is periodontitis? 
   Periodontitis is a gum disease that is usually present when the teeth appear loose. Since there is a loss of bone volume and bone quantity surrounding teeth roots, teeth become loose. Many factors, such as medications and genetic predisposition, may also lead to periodontitis.
